Am I crazy for loving this opening sequence as much as I do?? Forget Fireproof: let's watch Thirtysomething! I'm willing to start at the beginning of Season 1 if you guys are into it. IT IS REALLY GOOD.
PS: is it significant that the creator of this video (on youtube) is "tiggstiggstiggs"?

30something - i need more details about your fascination with it. isn't it just an older friends?
i know! just between you and me, i think raleighsnitch gives too much credit to things that are sorta lame (electric beanz coffee shop). we should start one and be more selective?
also, i love thirtysomething because:
- i was never allowed to watch it, EVER, and it was so appealing because of that;
- it's corny but tries to be sincere;
- it is neither terrible nor wonderful, just super mediocre;
- the characters are both likeable and obnoxious;
- it is both a comedy and a drama;
- i'm starting to get into some of the storylines;
- the soundtrack is great. think 7th Heaven but in 1989. (actually, that could go for everything about the show. 7th Heaven + sex + yuppies reminiscing about their hippie days + the late '80s Rusted Root/LL Bean vibe = thirtysomething.
My Mom was OBSESSED w/this show when we were kids - this and Twin peaks. It used to come on after our bed time. I always link it w/ Northern Exposure for some reason. That show I LOVE.
