yeah, we should definitely stop the discussion there, and not think about why this has become such a big problem in recent years or why "producing papers" is such an impossible burden for many/most people, illegal and otherwise.
we should also not try to solve the problem by improving trade relations with Mexico and figuring out why things are so hellish there that so many people would want to risk their lives and move their families over the border.
i guess this all started because a arizona rancher was recently shot and killed by some peeps trying to cross the border illegally. although, the only online news source that reported it was fox news.
Yeah, because pulling people over because of the way they look, and then taking them to prison for not having a birth certificate on them is a GREAT idea! Man, if only every person in America were required to carry around a birth certificate, the world would really be a safer place. And I guess if one rancher get's shot, that's cause for a new state law which strips the rights of potential American citizens and allows police to target folks based on their race. Thanks FOX for your hard hitting journalism!

Also, they're investigating the rancher's murderer in the US, not Mexico...meaning it might not have been people trying to cross illegally.
