Also, I realized that all my friends I know who live in Carrboro, myself included, I pretty much consider a hipster of some stripe. None of them will fess up to it, especially not Rory. And maybe I'm being unfair, but there is a shit load classy vinyl between all of them. I'm just sayin'.
But what's the big deal about "fessing up" to being a hipster or not? So what if you have vinyl, so what if you like plaid and scarves.
Guess what: everyone who has classy vinyl probably did 10 years ago and will 10 years from now, and everyone who likes scarves probably just likes scarves. If not scarves, then glasses, tight jeans, bikes, etc etc.
"Hipster" = meaningless marketing term + played-out internet jokes
