Kill Your Cable!

My roommate and I cancelled our cable this summer. It was a great decision. Summer sports are lame, as are summer shows. We save 50 bucks a month, yet I sacrificed my chance to catch up on Spencer and Heidi shenanigans. Bummer!

We still have the Internet. And we have Hulu, magical Hulu. We get every TV show we could want, for free. You can do it too. Call Time Warner and tell them to end their tyranny! Tell 'em to go to hell!

i've been a long time supporter of this! ted turner is like a gazillionaire. he doesn't need money from every single person in america every month. at first its difficult...but think of all the other things you can get done! and hulu gets you by.
plus, they're really bad about taking more money than they are supposed to directly out of your account and you have to bend over backwards to get your money back.
screw dat!

i've thought about this, but i can't commit just yet. yeah i hate the hassle of paying for this ridiculous utility but i never go to the movies (maybe twice a year??) so cable is an alternative. i've thought about going with the most basic plan so i can catch american idol in january. the cable company is annoying, but so are the carrboro-ish types (i'm stereotyping, but you get my drift) that claim they can "live without tv" and then they visit their friends/family to get their show fix and/or watch anything they can.
