It should be no secret by now that I get a lot of "ideas" (aka steal stuff) from
missbehave. They've topped themselves again and made a
style guide that, for the letter W, has "
Weetzie Bat." I couldn't be happier if they'd used "
Winnie Titchener"!*
Weetzie Bat shaped a lot of my lil' 14-year-old worldview and made me feel like I lived in a prettier place. Somehow it caught on at UNCW with Michael and Michael's crew, and I think he's the only boy I've known who has also appreciated what
Weetzie Bat means to the world.
SPEAKING OF MICHAEL PEARCE...he's turning 25 today! Happy birthday ol' Michael!
